I'm glad you've enjoyed the book. It has meaning at so many levels. It is a beautiful romantic novel, yet it is also such a scathing attack on the society they lived in. I'd love to see us have so much more of the extreme manners and courtesy and honor of this era, but I'm also so glad for the true equality and freedom that continues to grow in our time.

I think this was interesting... I guess i never looked that deeply into the meaning of Jane's stay at Netherfield with her cold and the other events that surrounded it. It was interesting that Elizabeth was thought so crazy for having walked those 3 miles to see her sister. Society has definitely changed, for the better??

I'm enjoying this book... just finished it actually.
